Gina Waters Miller has been passionate about music and writing for as long as she can remember. A lifelong musician, educator, entrepreneur, executive and manager,  her love of the arts, training, and track record in multiple genres of music has forged the way, proving to be a significant part of her life’s purpose and work.

Miller’s roles throughout her career have included Radio and Retail Coordinator, Marketing Manager, Dir. National Sales and Label Relations, VP Promotions & Marketing, VP Promotions and Label Relations, and now currently SVP and GM. As Senior Vice President and General Manager of MNRK MUSIC GROUP (pronounced Monarch) in Nashville, TN, Miller oversees the day-to-day operations for monikers MNRK Nashville, Light Records, IndieBlu Music (Digital Distribution), and a thriving publishing roster. MNRK Nashville continues to dominate music spaces across a variety of track sales, albums, and airplay charts, and is consistently named one of the world’s top Independent Record Labels.

Miller is currently a member of Women In Film, The Americana Music Association, Women In Music, the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). She also leads the Nashville Network of the National Association of Black Female Executives in Media & Entertainment™ (NABFEME) and is the Founder of the Beautiful Girl, You Are Already Enough campaign, amongst other initiatives.

She believes in service and is committed to reaching back, pulling up and pushing forward. As a music industry veteran, active champion of numerous D&I initiatives and committees, and an advocate for equality and equity, she is a sought-after speaker, clinician, mentor, contributor, and philanthropist. She is a member of several boards and advisory councils, including Co-Founder and VP,  Nashville Music Equality (an organization that educates and challenges non-minority colleagues to consider action around equality, tolerance and opportunities for all minorities in the music industry), the Americana Music Association, Governor of the Nashville Chapter Recording Academy, Music Makes Us, Music Biz, St. Jude Urban Entertainment Advisory Board and others.

Named to Billboard’s Women in Music executive classes 2018 and 2020, Gina is frequently published and recognized in publications that focus on industry and leadership. Named to the Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence 2021 Class as a mentor/inspiration, is a reminder that Miller continues to use her voice, influence, and time…to work, empower, amplify, drive change, and bring action to the organizations she faithfully serves, in the community which she lives, and beyond. Leadership Music Nashville recently announced that Gina Miller was selected to join the class of 2022.

Gina has two adult sons and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
