Daniel Higbee

Daniel Higbee is the VP of Synch at Dualtone Music Group, overseeing pitching and placement efforts for licensing in Film, TV and Advertising for Dualtone’s catalog and publishing roster, which includes The Lumineers, Shakey Graves, Amos Lee, and Chuck Berry. Higbee handles A&R for Dualtone’s 3rd party roster, signing talent with a synch focus. Prior to joining Dualtone, he held various titles, including Head of Film/TV and SVP of Creative at Secret Road, a boutique music services company, working with a growing roster of independent acts including The Civil Wars, SYML, Josh Ritter and Ingrid Michaelson. Higbee’s career in music started back in 2001, working for a non-commercial radio station near Kansas City while in college. This ultimately led him to LA working in sync licensing at Sugaroo! Music Services, and he also freelanced for music supervisor Jennifer Pyken, assisting her with television projects Las Vegas and Lost.
