THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS will be touring in support of their critically adored Celebrity Therapist full-length, released in September via MNRK Heavy and Modern Static Records.

Reviving noise rock like they’re summoning the dead, THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS deliver a vibrant and singular concoction of mathcore, sasscore, and post-hardcore. Captivating frontman Carson Pace with guitarists Maddie Caffrey and Dan Hodsdon, bassist Jackie Buckalew, drummer Sam Williamson, and violinist Amber Christman manifest a sound that’s unapologetically dense and impenetrable yet confusingly inviting as each song deliriously swerves across stylistic lines. Celebrity Therapist earned the #6 position on Billboard’s Top New Artists chart upon its first week release and continues to reap critical accolades as it tops year end lists nationally. Revolver calls the record,  “one of the year’s wildest rides.” MetalSucks reasons, “Their sound is so crazy, so all over the place, so intense that you just have to listen. You want to pay attention to parse the layers of sound they’re pummeling you with,” while Bandcamp Daily notes, “Even as avant-minded metalcore albums go, Celebrity Therapist is exceptionally chaotic…But don’t dare call THE DAOBOYS’ sophomore breakthrough ‘random’… Frontman Carson Pace twists his rage against cultish conservative/neoliberal groupthink into a dense tangle of absurdist-tangent lyrics. The result is pyrotechnic protest music that wields the young DAOBOYS’ conversance with information overload as a weapon against algorithm-age ignorance.”

Celebrity Therapist is available on CD, LP, cassette, and digital formats. Order yours today at THIS LOCATION.

THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS don’t waste a second on Celebrity Therapist, merging passages of nightmare-fuel screams, pyroclastic noise explosions and non-sequitur interludes into a bizarre conglomerate of nu-metal and mathcore… Expect this type of manic gear-shifting throughout, and buckle in for one of the year’s wildest rides.” – Revolver’s 25 Best Albums Of 2022
