Elijah Blake’s distinctive voice and production push the boundaries of musical expression as he sings about lost relationships, “can’t get you out of my head, out of my brain, chasing after love, that I know has been dead, you’re just a ghost of my past that keeps coming back.” Known for his chart-topping collaborations with industry giants, Blake’s new release delivers a haunting and soulful experience as a first taste of his new studio album, due out in June 2024.

The accompanying music video premiered today via BET Soul is an atmospheric, cinematic experience reminiscent of “Interview with a Vampire.” Directed by Sean Alexander, the video follows Elijah Blake as he navigates the hauntings of his past. Elijah’s seductive presence illustrates the bittersweet lyrics of the track.
Adding an extra layer of allure to the project, Yashua Simmons served as the Costume Designer/Producer for the “Ghostbuster” video. Based in Los Angeles, Simmons is a style expert and fashion editor celebrated for his storytelling through fashion and impactful collaborations with renowned brands and publications such as Nike, Glossier, Rhude, Greg Lauren, Fear of God, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar. The video also features Toni-Ann Singh, 2019’s Miss World, adding a captivating visual dimension to the narrative.
