Billacheck’s name was inspired by former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
His introduction to rapping came unexpectedly in a friend’s basement studio while observing an engineer and rapper at work. Experimenting with his own verses, Billacheck quickly discovered a passion for the art form. It wasn’t until his cousin showcased his talent to the renowned comedian Druski that Billacheck began to gain traction.
Druski’s endorsement led to a pivotal moment when director Krispy Kam shot Billacheck’s debut music video, “Life That I Live,” free of charge. The buzz generated by Druski’s social media post attracted attention from major labels, managers, and producers within the first few months of Billacheck’s emergence.
His momentum continued to grow with co-signs from influential figures in the industry, including Quez Ruthless, the late Memphis artist Big Scarr, and more.
In 2023, Billacheck made a significant mark with the release of his debut mixtape, Head Coach, setting the stage for his new Laugh Now, Cry Later project.
