(New York, NY – October 7, 2024) Ron E., the rising R&B star and protégé of Grammy Award-winning producer Hitmaka, is back with his latest single “Perform” via MakaSound Records/MNRK Music Group. After the success of his hit track “Worst Way” featuring rapper Fabolous, Ron continues to captivate listeners, this time with a seductive ode to women’s sultry movements when they’re on “Demon Time” with their significant other.
“Perform,” co-written by Ron E. and Hitmaka (Chris Brown, Big Sean, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie), showcases Ron’s signature smooth delivery, backed by Hitmaka’s irresistible production. The track is the second single from Ron E.’s upcoming EP, Rated R, set to release on October 30th.
The official video for “Perform,” directed by the renowned Gerard Victor (JT, Sexyy Red, Lil Durk, and Conway), premiered on BET Soul and BET Jams, adding a visual layer to the song’s sultry vibe.

Long Island-bred Ron E. is no stranger to the music scene. He began his career in the viral R&B boy group “Exit 21,” aptly named after the highway exit in his hometown. After the group disbanded to pursue solo careers, Ron focused on his craft and began writing. His persistence and ambition led him to connect with mega-producer Hitmaka, resulting in writing credits for Chris Brown (“Stutter”), DDG (“She Don’t Play”), Eric Bellinger (“All For Me”), Tink (“Songs About U” ft. Summer Walker), Lady London (“Intro” ft. Jeremih), and more.
Ron E.’s seamless transition back to the mic has been marked by a string of successful singles, including “Everything Right” ft.
