(New York, NY — August 14, 2026) East New York’s own Masio Gunz isn’t holding back anymore. The Brooklyn rapper releases his new album, THIS SH*T NOT REGULAR, out now. A 13-track project featuring King Beamo, Ron E, and Young Devyn, the album finds Masio at his most complete: the gritty street storytelling that put him on, the melodic hooks that keep him there, and the reason nobody’s counting him out again.

There have always been two sides to Masio. One is unfiltered: rap bars, block-tested stories, nothing softened for the room. The other lives in the melody, the one behind Masey Baby, where the hooks hypnotize and the vulnerability sits underneath the toughness. THIS SH*T NOT REGULAR is the first time both sides have shown up on the same project front-to-back, and that’s why it doesn’t sound like anything else out right now.

He’s already fired off two singles that show exactly what he’s been carrying. “HELLEN KELLER” got personal: coming back with something to prove, his mother who never stopped believing in him, a heart hardened by everything life put him through, and the loyalty he had to start questioning to get here. “TIT FOR TAT” doubled down, settling old scores over a relentless beat and putting a number on everyone who counted him out. Both set the tone for everything that follows on the album.

THIS SH*T NOT REGULAR opens with “INTRO/CLEAN THE AISLE,” Masio clearing space for what’s next, before sliding into the ice-cold confidence of “COLDER THAN MINNESOTA.” He links with King Beamo for “DISTURBING THE PEACE,” brings in Ron E for “IN TOO DEEP,” and taps Young Devyn for “INVASION.” In between, tracks like “ASTRONOMIC,” “AINT MAKING LUV,” “SOMEONE LIKE YOU,” “OFF THE COAST,” and “DECISIONS” fill out the range, moving between flexing, heartbreak, romantic getaways, and earned clarity. It closes with “1 OF 1,” him unlike anyone else, and the project moves through every version of him there is: the hardened one, the loving one, and the one still climbing.

Razoronthetrack handles the bulk of the production, with CallUpTay behind the boards for “TIT FOR TAT,” S Dot producing “In Too Deep,” and Angelontheboards crafting “Invasion.”
“This is everything I’ve been through, put into one body of work. I didn’t make it to sound like everybody else, I made it because it isn’t. This sh*t not regular, and neither am I.” – Masio Gunz

Masio Gunz has been putting in work long before the spotlight found him. Coming up on Schenck Ave in East New York, he built his name from the ground up, piling up millions of streams and views before signing to MNRK Music Group. Along the way, he earned co-signs from 22gz, Bizzy Banks, and CoachdaGhost, delivered his freestyles at On The Radar, and brought in platinum R&B artist Jeremih for his breakout single “Panic,” which appeared on his debut album, aptly named Masey Baby after that same melodic side, alongside Honey BxbyRon E, and Joshua Baraka. This time, he’s proving what everyone around him already knew.

THIS SH*T NOT REGULAR is out everywhere now.
