Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor is the President & CEO of MNRK Music Group and Grammy Award-winning music executive. He started his music career as lead singer for Virgin Recording artist “One.” Following his music career, he became one of the world’s most successful music attorneys representing Drake, Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne, and many others. In 2004, he started the independent music company Last Gang to launch the careers of Metric, Death from Above 1979, Mother Mother, and Crystal Castles. He sold Last Gang into Entertainment One in 2016 and left his law practice to head eOne Music Group. Taylor led the sale process of eOne Music (now called MNRK) to Blackstone in 2021.
